We have recieved a lot of Mail-Feedback after our last Sneep-article and it´s kinda curious because I have never really tought much about Sneepfishing. It was always that easy for me: It´s a fish, it has a mouth - so it´s gotta eat something...flydish is served - Bang! Here is a little documentation of another trip to Sieg River and it´s ambitious fighters. Check out Pt.I for further information.
(Gotcha!)
(Pretty fish...for the beginning)
(That´s why they call it NASE or Nosecarp)
(Paulo´s turn - he hooked a jumper...)
(BANG - I have to admit here, that the splash is adjusted because it was outside of the focal length - the jump is for real)
(It´s all about a 5 letter word. Balls, even the smaller ones got a whole bunch of them)
After taking some videofootage of rodcracking Sneep´s I hooked a sweet fish, that immediately ran into backing (Creekline is just 15Meters long...)
(BACKING RUN-AAAAAAAAAH)
(Get bend...)
(Time for some audience)
(Missed that jump...)
(Damnit, this fish has cojones)
(Yeah, getting laid by a 2wt.)
(First attempt)
(Damnit!!!)
(Just like this...and...)
(YEAH!!!)
(Sneep on fly - give it a try)
(Peeping caddis - Item to go)
(Thunderstorm...damnit)
(...)
(Hell´s Waders)
(Sneep on Streamer)
(Paulo and a Sneep)
(Dog Nobbler did the job)
(Thunderstrom prevails...light disappears)
(Olympic gold on a 2weight flyrod)
It´s hot outside...and the absolute humidity makes you feel like you´re stucked in a steamer. It´s time for a refreshing blast of light tackle action. Check out the following footages and take them as an recreational advice for spending time on the riverside. A Sneep will reward you for all your efforts with backingruns, fullbends and a lot of tailrunning- and sometimes jumping-action.

After two hours of fishing and a couple of nice Sneep´s it started to thunder...time to get back home...but on our way back, we had to do some more casts. If you are a baitcaster, you may know that you can also catch Sneep on small crankbaits, softbaits and spinners on conventional spinningtackle. Most people think that this is a coincident, but it´s not. You can get them aswell on rapidly moving streamers - so if you have to set out for you way back home, give it a try... you will be suprised!
